Biographies
Thomas Soviero
Founding Partner and Chief Investment Officer
Mr. Soviero has more than 31 years of portfolio management and research experience. Prior to founding Soviero Asset Management, he was a Portfolio Manager, Director of High Yield Research, and Research Analyst at Fidelity Investments from 1989 to 2016. At Fidelity, Mr. Soviero was responsible for managing institutional accounts as well as the following funds: Fidelity Leveraged Company Stock Fund (2003-2016), Fidelity Convertible Securities Fund (2005-2016), Fidelity Advisor High Income Advantage Fund (2000-2010), Fidelity Value Strategies Fund (2010-2016), Fidelity Strategic Dividend & Income Fund (2005-2006) and Fidelity High Income Fund (1996-2000). The funds he managed were the recipients of 10 Lipper Awards.
Mr. Soviero earned a B.S. from Boston College in 1985 and was Valedictorian.
Melissa Ford
Founding Partner
Ms. Ford has more than 18 years of experience in the securities and banking industry. Prior to founding Soviero Asset Management, Ms. Ford was a Director and Investment Analyst at Column Park Asset Management, a long-short credit hedge fund where she was the first employee pre-launch. Prior to Column Park, she spent over a decade in investment banking, high yield research, and high yield sales at Banc of America, Credit Suisse, and Salomon Smith Barney.
Ms. Ford holds an A.B. degree from Harvard College and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
